Caroline Denervaud

Denervaud combines her large scale drawings with intense performance that demands the entire body. The most important tool for this: strong, flexible feet, she says! The best time for this kind of work? Before noon! At night, she then devotes herself to her collages, which emerge from the guidance of her feelings and senses. The artist, born in Paris in 1978, is not one to rely on plan or preparation for ideas. Her attitude towards life is that it is an eternal research and no rehearsal, where we have to provide our best performance possible.
