Brass on Ice
The BLOCK series is the first from New York based company Apparatus to incorporate the use of brass. Not only this, but the specialised production is also something to be admired through its casted crystal appearing like giant ice cubes!
Molten, Swedish barium crystal is poured into graphite molds, which later make the cooled crystal appear like ice.
The crystal blocks serve as a base for the brass receptacles and at the same time provide a special yet harmonious obscurity.
The materials balance each other perfectly with limitless possibilities for surroundings.
